A seasoned entrepreneur and startup community leader, Mack is the cofounder and Chief Product Officer at Different (differentfunds.com), a company that provides research and analysis on venture capital to institutional investors. Previously, he cofounded Startup Angels, an angel education organization that taught investor workshops in 30+ markets around the world. He also cofounded SceneSquid (a SaaS marketing tool for the events industry) and Startup Jackpot. As a global and corporate facilitator with Startup Weekend, Mack has run entrepreneur programs across the globe and helped pioneer the organization’s corporate innovation program — working with organizations like Booz Allen Hamilton, Coca Cola and the World Bank. He has a B.A. in Political Science / Political Economy from Carleton College. Mack has particular expertise in: VC, how investors think, product design, business development, marketing and analytics, and the FinTech, DeepTech, SaaS, events, & small business sectors.
